Friction saw blades have many applications. One of the key  areas we have made improvements in is the flying cut off saws for the pipe and tube mills. In addition, our new tooth design and other modifications have greatly increased the end-cut quality. Most pipe mills have trouble with hang burrs especially when cutting rounds, we have developed a special tooth profile and other performance modifications to give much nicer end-cuts and increase blade life. This means less down time on the mill.

Please notice the quality of the grind on this friction saw. We are able to create more chip clearance and the smoothed gullet greatly enhances performance. The equipment we service our blades with is very accurate and consistent. With our equipment we can maintain proper tooth geometry. We have some applications cutting tubing at 3" per second on a flying friction saw.
